24-Hour Virtual STAR TREK DAY Beams Down September 8

On September 8, 1966, pop culture was changed forever when Star Trek premiered on NBC. Since then, there have been a whopping ten series in the franchise, thirteen films, and countless books and comics. And, of course, all those Star Trek conventions. However, this year, the biggest Trek gathering is going virtual. Star Trek Day is a free 24-hour event, celebrating five decades of exploring the Final Frontier.

On Trek’s 54th anniversary, the virtual event will bring the Star Trek community together and provide fans with exclusive programming and initiatives including panels with the cast and creatives from nine Star Trek television series, exclusive news from the Trek Universe on CBS All Access, curated Star Trek series marathons and more. There will also be official merchandise, flash sales, and more.

Wil Wheaton (Wesley Crusher) and Mica Burton will host these three and a half hour of free virtual panels and programming. These panels will reunite iconic cast members and creative minds from nine series in the franchise. There will be a deep dive into stories from Treks past, and of course exclusive sneak peeks into what’s next in the Star Trek Universe on CBS All Access.
