The 17 Most Anticipated Movies of 2017

By all accounts, 2016 was a raging dumpster fire of a year. But like any travesty, it was made just bearable for short amounts of time thanks to pop culture, especially movies. While this year brought along with it a cornucopia of cinematic treats, I can’t help but look to the future. No, not the inevitable Mad Max: Fury Road-style hellscape we’re all hurtling towards; rather, I’m talking about the plethora of must-see movies coming our way in 2017. Whether you’re a diehard devotee of superhero cinema, a sucker for long-delay sequels, or a passionate patron of deeply original cinema, there’s something for you waiting at a movie theater in the future.

But with so many movies coming your way, how will you separate the wheat from the chaff? Simple—let me do it for you. On today’s episode of The Dan Cave, I’m looking into my crystal ball, auguring over piles of bleached animal bones, translating tea leaves, and doing a deep dive into the future of film with a list of our most anticipated movies of 2017. From Star Wars: Episode VIII to Justice League and beyond, we’re going over all the biggest releases coming your way. And trust me when I say this, folks: This is just the tip of the cinematic iceberg.

Which film are you most looking forward to in 2017? Let me know in the comments below!
