If you didn’t go to the theater to see the newest Star Wars movie, The Mandalorian and Grogu—and statistically that’s most of you—but you still want to see it, you’re soon to be in luck. The Mandalorian and Grogu will make its Disney+ debut on Wednesday, September 2, in just a few short weeks. We called it “pure Star Wars fun,” which will seemingly feel right at home amid the previous three seasons of the TV series. In addition to the movie, September 2 will also see the premiere of LEGO Star Wars: The Mandalorian, which will tell the whole adventure of The Mandalorian in LEGO form, complete with gentle ribbing. Check out the trailer below.

And as if that weren’t enough, on September 2, you’ll also get to stream Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu Official Podcast. This video interview series will go behind the scenes of all things having to do with the movie. Writer-director Jon Favreau welcomes Lucasfilm head Dave Filoni, star Pedro Pascal, co-star Sigourney Weaver, and even Grogu himself. (How’d they get him?!) No indication on how many episodes we’ll get in total, but the first two episodes will drop on 9/2/2026. Trailer below.

So if you’ve been waiting roughly a few months to check out anything having to do with Mando and the puppet, your patience has paid off. Or if you just want to watch stuff again, plus new things you haven’t seen, then bonus for you.
