Spider-ManOpens in a new tab can spin a web any size, and he catches thieves just like flies, but one thing he can’t do apparently is keep a secret to save his life. Or, at the very least, his human alter ego Tom HollandOpens in a new tab can’t.
Although Holland’s solo debut as Peter Parker in Spider-Man HomecomingOpens in a new tab already has incredible pre-release buzz and is poised to make the 21-year-old actor a household name, it seems in many ways that Holland is still a young kid who behaves as a young kid would.
Case in point: Our new friendly neighborhood wall-crawler is currently filming his role as Peter Parker/Spider-Man for Avengers: Infinity WarOpens in a new tab, but Marvel Studios chief Kevin FeigeOpens in a new tab still hasn’t let Holland read the whole script.
The reasoning? It sounds like it’s because Feige knows the kid’s got a big old mouth on him.

“I don’t know anything about it or what it’s about,” Holland told the Toronto SunOpens in a new tab in an interview. “I know who the villain is, but that’s it. They don’t let me read anything because I’m so bad at keeping secrets.” Well, at least he knows that’s why. The last thing Marvel Studios wants to deal with is Tom Holland giving away spoilers for the film during a particularly excitable press junket interview or something.

One thing is for certain: Holland is going to be extra busy with his Spider-Man life for the foreseeable future. He finishes shooting Avengers: Infinity War and its follow up this year, and then goes straight into Spider-Man: Homecoming 2Opens in a new tab. Maybe Feige need not have worried–Holland is going to be too busy to blab spoilers to anyone anytime soon.
