Spruce Up Your Echo Dot With Baby Yoda Ears

If you really think about it, Echo Dots have the Force. The mysterious little circular objects omit loud noises, can answer just about any question you ask it, and seem practiced in all walks of life. They’re a little bit like the all-knowing Jedi Master Yoda. Or maybe, a little bit like The Child from The Mandalorian.

And as luck would have it, you can now dress your Amazon Echo Dot up to look like Baby Yoda. The good folks at OtterBox have done it again, with this exclusive-to-Amazon product that fits perfectly over the third-generation Echo Dot. According to the product listing, it was “designed to delight the whole family” and is a “Precision-fit, non-slip base engineered for optimal audio output.” It won’t block out any of the important functional aspects of the Echo Dot, including buttons and the time code, so that’s nice!

The product doesn’t totally emulate Baby Yoda. It’s lacking his adorable, big round eyes and the rest of his expressive face. In fact, you could make the argument that this also just sort of looks like regular Yoda ears molded into plastic and used to make a lot of money. But hey, we can’t blame OtterBox there. We all have Baby Yoda merchandise fever these days. Might as well get in on the action.

If you’re looking for a fun, green way to make your Echo Dot stand out—and if you’re a big Star Wars and/or Mandalorian fan—this non-intrusive product is the right choice for you. It’s adorable, it’s relatively inexpensive, and it’s exactly what a fun accessory should be: there to add flair to a preexisting product without making it more complicated.

You can currently pre-order the The Child ear holder over on Amazon for $24.95. Items will ship out on August 20.
