Meet the Cast of Geek & Sundry’s RELICS AND RARITIES

Keep your sword sharp and your wits even sharper, adventurer, because today marks the beginning of your new obsession: Geek & Sundry’s Relics and Rarities!

From the delightfully inventive mind of Deborah Ann Woll (Marvel’s Daredevil, True Blood) comes a bold new fantasy role-playing game series based on the hit tabletop RPG Dungeons & Dragons from Wizards of the Coast. Geek & Sundry’s Relics and Rarities is a weekly episodic adventure full of puzzles, peril, and the possibility of certain death lurking around every corner…

As any RPG player worth their salt knows, a storyteller needs a hearty band of adventurers to heed the call and voyage headlong into the unknown. Joining Woll in this weekly, episodic series will be a core cast including Tommy Walker (Daredevil) as Veros, a human fighter; Xander Jeanneret (Sagas of Sundry) as Rikki, a gnome druid; Julia Dennis (Lofty Dreams) as Annabella, a human bard; and Jasmine Bhullar (Starter Kit: Vampire The Masquerade) as Beryl, a half-orc Barbarian. But that’s not all… In addition to the core cast of the show, every episode of Geek & Sundry’s Relics and Rarities will also feature a special celebrity guest, which Nerdist is proud to exclusively reveal for the very first time!

Over the course of the season, Deborah Ann Woll and the cast will be joined by Charlie Cox (Marvel’s Daredevil), Kevin Smith (Clerks, Yoga Hosers), Matthew Lillard (Scream, Scooby Doo), Janina Gavinkar (Blindspotting, True Blood), Simone Missick (Marvel’s Luke Cage), and Sam Richardson (Veep). So make sure that you tune in each and every week because you won’t want to miss these incredible actors bringing unforgettable characters to life like you’ve never seen before.

Tonight’s series premiere features the Internet’s current obsession, a man whose power levels are off the charts: Shaggy himself, Matthew Lillard. No stranger to role-playing games, Lillard runs a curio shop of sorts of his very own, Beadle & Grimm’s Pandemonium warehouse, which provides premium goods and one-of-a-kind tools to enhance your tabletop gaming experience. But now he’s going to be put to the ultimate test as he steps into the devious, deadly world that Woll has devised as Allister Goldfang, the dragonborn sorcerer and spirit medium.

In addition to Lillard’s spell-slinging dragonborn, Sam Richardson will be playing a gnomish ranger named Ionis Leatherfoot; Janina Gavinkar is a self-styled “bad bitch,” the half-elf tomb raider, Mumeé; Charlie Cox will be battening down the mizzenmast as Seamus O’Flanagan, half-elf pirate extraordinaire; Kevin Smith will be sleuthing out the truth as Sam Haynne, a tiefling warlock and private detective; and Simone Missick will be bringing to life a paragon of justice, the human paladin Zora Ujasiri.
