STAR WARS and Pop Culture Themed Macarons Are Adorable

They say you can’t have your cake and eat it too. Well, we wish you could have your macaron and eat it too, because we’ve just discovered an Instagram account called Sugar Devotion (via Geeks Are Sexy). The baker makes these tiny delicious treats and gives them a pop culture touch. One the one hand, yum. On the other hand, you kind of just want to keep them forever and display them. They’re too cute to eat.

Sugar Devotion’s Star Wars themed macarons feature little Jawas, Ewoks, and of course, a tiny Baby Yoda. There’s even a Chewbacca in there for good measure. Chewie is maybe the last Star Wars character that springs to mind when you think tiny, but we suppose he was just too cuddly to pass up.

A Disney animation-themed batch seems like an obvious choice for anything cute, small, and sugary. Sugar Devotion made macarons based on her favorite characters from Disney’s animated pantheon: the critters from the Hundred Acre Wood. Pooh Bear, Eeyore, Tigger, and Piglet all look sweet and delicious.

More from the Disney tip, this time from the Pixar side of things: the alien critters from the Toy Story films. Although her favorite Toy Story character is Woody, she acknowledges that the Little Green Men from Pizza Planet do make for the cuter macrons. We agree.

We already know how much Sesame Street’s Cookie Monster loves some delicious sweets. It only makes sense that he wind up as a tiny, yummy treat himself. And can you spot the Elmo cameo?
