The Spice Girls Announce a Reunion Tour!

Update: If you were looking for an excuse to travel to the UK next year you now have it, as the band has released the official dates of their tour, which will also include British singer-songwriter Jess Glynne.

The Spice Girls also released a fun, tongue-in-cheek-video making fun of themselves and their past.

People of the world, looking to spice up your life? Well, just wait until next year, when The Spice Girls hit the road for their first new tour in a decade! And while we know it will be full of girl power, it’s not going to be quite as posh as we’d hope, as Victoria Beckham is sitting this one out.

Ginger Spice a.k.a. Geri Horner, Scary Spice a.k.a. Mel B, Sporty Spice a.k.a. Mel C, and Baby Spice a.k.a. Emma Bunton will embark on a new stadium tour in the summer of 2019. An announcement (and video) with venues and dates is expected later today, and tickets will go on sale this Friday, November 9.

As Mel B told ITV’s Loose Women, “It’s just the four of us,” though she expressed hope that Posh would join the gang once again. There’s still a lot of time until the tour actually kicks off, so we’ll hold out hope too.

While they entire band, Victoria Beckham included, performed together at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, this will be the band’s first tour since 2008. It’s an announcement that has been a longtime coming for fans; there were rumors back in 2015 they would tour in 2016.
