TINY TINA’S WONDERLANDS Gameplay Trailer Is Delightfully Wacky

If you’ve ever wanted to rain a hail of bullets on a dragon–and who hasn’t–there’s about to be a video game just for you. The high-octane Borderlands franchise meets high fantasy in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, announced today at the Summer Game Fest! The unpredictable and bombastic Tiny Tina stars in her own genre-bending adventure coming from 2K and Gearbox Entertainment in 2022.

Get your first look at the trailer below.

If your favorite kind of loot is found in a dungeon, you’re going to love this twist on the looter shooter. The upcoming game sounds like a mayhem-filled mashup of fantasy and action. And it boasts an incredible cast. Andy Samberg, Wanda Sykes, and more lend their voices to a world where bullets and broadswords collide.

“Joining players for the experience are headstrong captain Valentine (Andy Samberg), rule-obsessed
robot Frette (Wanda Sykes), and the beloved, bomb-chucking Tiny Tina (Ashly Burch), who serves as
players’ guide through this extraordinary tabletop realm where rules rarely apply,” says the game announcement.  “During their quest to defeat the Dragon Lord (Will Arnett), players will meet a cast of lovable misfits like a lute-wielding Bardbarian and their very own Fairy Punchfather.”

They had us at Bardbarian.

2K and Gearbox Entertainment

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is a standalone, story-driven game with a co-op campaign for up to four players. Players can create and customize multiclass characters to unleash on monsters lurking inside treasure-filled dungeons. The game also promises repeatable end-game content so that the action never stops.

As part of PlayStation Showcase 2021, the studio revealed a brand new gameplay trailer for the game and it looks so awesome. Plus it uses the song “Gimme Chocolate!!” from the Japanese bubblegum pop/death metal band BABYMETAL. It’s pretty great.

The chaos begins March 25, 2022. You’ll find it on the Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
