Sadie Sink Will Reportedly Star in AVENGERS: SECRET WARS

There’s a ton of speculation around Sadie Sink in more than one universe. First, fans really want to know what’s going on with Max in Stranger Things. Will she come out of that coma and make a full recovery? Or will she ultimately lose her life in the fight against Vecna? Upside Down things aside, fans are also very curious about her top secret role in Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Many are speculating that she’s Jean Grey, Shathra, or perhaps an original character altogether. Now, that fancasting will surely hit a fever pitch because Sadie Sink will reportedly star in Avengers: Secret Wars

Marvel Studios/Netflix

This alleged casting was mentioned during a recent Deadline profile about Sink’s rising career as she makes her West End debut in Romeo & Juliet opposite Noah Jupe. The piece states that Sink will reportedly begin filming an Avengers project in 2026. That would certainly align with Secret Wars, which is due to hit theaters in 2027.

Sink herself spoke briefly on the rumors about who she will play. “People will just have to wait and see,” she said. “I’m excited for all of it to maybe be put to rest.” She also admitted that she heard about rumors of her playing Jean Grey way before she even got casted in the role. “That was happening before I even knew that I would be working on this project. I was like, ‘Wait! What are people talking about?’”
