It’s officially the era of Pokémon Generation Eight.
On this Pokémon Day, Nintendo has released the trailer for Pokémon Sword and Shield, and it is just as cute and magical as we’ve come to expect. Of course whenever a new Pokémon game is revealed, fans will inevitably squabble over their favorite starters. The three new additions of Grookey, Scorbunny, and Sobble have already inspired a lot of love, fighting, jokes, and of course fan art. So we’ve collated some of the best tweets about each of the cute characters that have hit the internet.

The green chimpanzee inspired Pokémon has inspired a lot of fan art and almost instant loyalty from many Twitter users.
