It’s now a bit of a running joke these days, but Pedro Pascal is literally everywhere. From The Mandalorian to The Last of Us to the MCU, he’s an omnipresent fixture in our lives. And this past Super Bowl Sunday, he was also on stage with Bad Bunny during his already legendary halftime show performance, dancing up a storm in front of “La Casita.” The camera didn’t linger on him for too long, but that was the unmistakable (and bespectacled) face of Pedro Pascal up there. Joining him were several other celebs, including Cardi B and Karol G. You can watch the clip of Pedro Pascal gettin’ his groove on below, thanks to Pedro Pascal Daily:
One of the other famous folks on stage dancing with Pedro was actress Jessica Alba. She, of course, famously played Sue Storm in the 2000s era Fantastic Four movie. The internet made several jokes about how Reed Richards was getting down with the wrong Sue Storm. Well, we are still in the Multiverse Saga, so we’ll just say it’s a part of that. Super Bowl Sunday was a big deal for Pedro, as it also saw the debut of the latest teaser for The Mandalorian & Grogu. Sure, Mando didn’t take off his helmet in the Super Bowl ad, but we instinctively associated Mando and Pedro. Even if it was almost certainly not him in the armor in that ad, we can pretend.

An estimated 135 million people viewed Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl halftime show. It was a joyous celebration of Latin culture, and Bad Bunny name-dropped every country in the Americas. That means North, Central, and South America. That included Chile, Pedro Pascal’s home country. So we’re sure Pedro Pascal was thrilled to represent both the country he was born in and the country he immigrated to as a child in such a historic moment. We were certainly thrilled to witness it.
