STAR WARS Baby Yoda Bracelets Benefit Make-A-Wish

May the 4th is one of our favorite days of the year, a chance for Star Wars fans to celebrate the fantastical universe that provides us so much comfort and joy, especially in uncertain times like the ones we’re currently facing. Companies use the date to promote new lines of Star Wars-related material, but one such company—the bracelet retailer Lokai—will use their profits for a good cause.

To celebrate Star Wars Day, Lokai has a new line of galactic bracelets inspired by characters in the Star Wars universe. That includes: Princess Leia, R2-D2, Darth Vader, Stormtroopers, and a little newbie you might know as Baby Yoda (or “The Child”). The six-piece collection also includes a Star Wars logo bracelet.

Here’s a quote from the Lokai website about the stunning new bracelets:

Luke Skywalker™ describes the mystical Force as “Balance. Powerful light, powerful darkness.” In our real world journey to find balance, we all experience this contrast of highs and lows.

Each Lokai in the Star Wars™ Collection by Lokai is infused with elements from the highest and lowest points on Earth: water from Mt Everest and mud from the Dead Sea. These extreme elements remind you to find balance — staying humble during life’s highs and hopeful through its lows; and our love for Star Wars reminds us that the galaxy is an incredibly vast place.

But that’s not all. The bracelets also benefit a wonderful cause: Make-A-Wish. For each bracelet sold, Lokai will donate $1 to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, which provides life-changing trips for children with critical illnesses. Given the COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent quarantine, the foundation recently had to pause their services. This is a great way to honor your favorite Star Wars characters and help fund a cause so they can continue their services when public spaces are open again.

Lokai is a longtime partner of Make-A-Wish and in the past have been able to independently grant 70 wishes, including Noah’s, as seen in the video below. The company was founded by CEO Steven Izen, who used his grandfather’s Alzheimers diagnosis as inspiration to celebrate life’s highs and lows, and to release a product as a reminder to stay humble.

“We are so grateful for the continued support from Lokai, especially during these challenging times,” said Janell Holas, Make-A-Wish America chief marketing officer, in a press release. “With 40 years of experience granting wishes for children with critical illnesses, Make-A-Wish understands that hope can be a powerful force for children and families when they need it most. We are excited to work with Lokai to deliver hope and inspiration to our wish families and their communities with the new Star Wars collection.”

The Lokai Star Wars collection is just beautiful, and is a heartfelt way of giving back in a time where the highs and lows are especially on the mind. The Princess Leia bracelet is an especially potent one, as it symbolizes the character’s theme of hope and bravery.

You can find the full Lokai Star Wars Collection on the company’s website now. The collection will also be available at select retailers nationwide. Each bracelet sells for $22. Also, for the first time ever, Lokai has introduced an x-small size option, exclusively for products within this collection.

What better way to channel the Force than with a bracelet that promotes charity, and is meant to represent and embrace the highs and lows of life? There’s nothing more Star Wars than that
