LEGO fans are some of the most dedicated in the world. And the toy brick company is well aware of the resource that is their devoted fan community. The LEGO Ideas initiative is a way for the fans to come up with cool ideas for new sets, and submit them to see if they can officially get made. And the fans help choose if LEGO actually produces the fan build.

This year, the LEGO Ideas pitch is from SoGenius106, and it’s guaranteed to get your mouth watering. It’s called The Taste of LEGO. It is a full course meal of miniature food products, made up 1, 573 individual pieces. You can check out images for this potential set right here:

The set comes with
a hamburger, bacon and eggs (with toast), and a bowl of macaroni and cheese. To drink, there’s a glass of orange juice. And for dessert, there’s a slice of chocolate cake and an ice cream sundae. Each item of food features its own characteristics. The burger has removable layers, so you can build it however you prefer. One can actually slice the steak. And the mac and cheese bowl has individual pieces of macaroni to scoop up.

It took the creator of
The Taste of LEGO one month to build, re-build, then fully render this project. An online program called
Mecabricks helped to accomplish this, later rendered in a 3D animation program called Blender. Even though there have been food items used in LEGO sets in the past, this is the first time there’s ever been one entirely dedicated to food. And it’s serving breakfast, lunch
and dinner.

Right now,
The Taste of LEGO has a little over 800 supporters. But If they reach 10,000, this has a real shot at being something you can own. To show your support, head on over to the
LEGO Ideas site. Bon appétit.
