JURASSIC WORLD DOMINION’s Dino Battle Goes Global in Latest Trailer

Even before Dr. John Hammond invited guests into Jurassic Park people and dinosaurs proved a fatal mix. Five films and a billion-dollar franchise later, mankind still hasn’t learned its lesson. Now humanity will truly be forced to grapple with the hubris of its greatest scientists in Jurassic World Dominion. The film’s newest trailer promises a worldwide battle for supremacy millions of years in the making. And two generations of stars are the only hope to stop those prehistoric creatures.

This story always had to end this way. So long as there was a dollar to be made on creating dinosaurs, foolish people, both those with good intentions and those with nefarious motives, were going to push things too far. And that’s what humanity will be dealing with in Jurassic World Dominion. Here’s the official synopsis from Universal:

From Jurassic World architect and director Colin Trevorrow, Dominion takes place four years after Isla Nublar has been destroyed. Dinosaurs now live—and hunt—alongside humans all over the world. This fragile balance will reshape the future and determine, once and for all, whether human beings are to remain the apex predators on a planet they now share with history’s most fearsome creatures.

This trailer shows how widespread the problem really is. It goes well alongside the two short prologue pieces for the film that offer a glimpse at how life has changed with dinosaurs on the prowl.

If you need a team to lead your global efforts to save mankind, best to turn to those with the most dinosaur experience. Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum, and Sam Neill aren’t the film’s only returning stars, though. BD Wong (Dr. Henry Wu), Justice Smith (Franklin Webb), Daniella Pineda (Dr. Zia Rodrigue), and Omar Sy (Barry Sembenè) will also join them for one more adventure. Newcomers DeWanda Wise (She’s Gotta Have It), Mamoudou Athie (Archive 81), Dichen Lachman (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.), Scott Haze (Minari), and Campbell Scott (The Amazing Spider-Man 2) are also along for this prehistoric battle.

Will mankind survive? Will dinosaurs reign over the planet once more? Or will the two species learn to coexist? We won’t find out until Jurassic World Dominion stomps into theaters on June 10. But we already know one thing: not everyone will survive this fight. Humans never do.
