Because the, hopefully, first bit of promised Hades game merch is here. And it is the best possible kind of merch. The first announcement simply said that a Zagreus figurine was coming. But it did not mention we would receive a Zagreus Nendoroid.
Anime fans will tell you (and other fans might too) that Nendoroids are the superior form of fannish merch. These figures often come with multiple faceplates, a plethora of details, and a multitude of accessories. Not to mention they are so dang cute. You can’t help but fall in love with these adorable collectibles. A true blessing from the gods. Though a curse for your wallet.

We stan a chibi Underworld prince. And honestly, we feel this is his true form anyway. Little Zag, we love him. All we need now is his boyfriend… Thanatos. Or his girlfriend, Megaera. Or both.
