None of us can actually travel to Arrakis. I know because I’ve checked. Twice. But Denis Villeneuve’s Dune: Part Three won’t be the only way we can approximate a visit to Frank Herbert’s iconic planet this year. Legendary Entertainment and Warner Bros. Pictures are partnering with Fever to give fans another way to immerse themselves among the Fremen when DUNE: The Experience launches in Los Angeles in November.

If you want to feel, hear, see, and even taste what it’s like on Arrakis you’ll get the chance soon enough. The newly announced all-age DUNE: The Experience will invite fans to lose themselves in the spice-melange world with a limited-time activation. Attendees will get an experience for all the sense that runs for roughly 60 minutes. Here’s the description from the activation’s website of what guests can expect:
Step into the world of Arrakis with an immersive, real-life experience that invites you to journey through the universe of Dune, blending interactive storytelling, iconic environments, cinematic soundscapes, and striking visuals as you travel across the trilogy. Step into an atmosphere built to be touched, heard, and felt firsthand, with opportunities to test yourself against the Bene Gesserit, discover hidden messages within ancient carvings, claim Paul Atreides’ throne, and capture an unforgettable photo moment with a colossal sandworm. Complete your journey by refueling at the themed culinary lounge, grabbing exclusive merch, and building the hype as the universe expands towards Dune: Part Three.
If we’re completely honest we’d like to sit on Paul Atreides’ throne. It’s so rare you get a chance to sit in a tyrant’s chair, you know?
The experience launches in November ahead of Dune: Part Three’s December 18 premiere. The experience will take place at 330 S Alameda St. in Los Angeles. You can sign up for the wait list to get your ticket when they go on sale October 6. Try to make sure this sells out for those of us not in Los Angeles. If DUNE: The Experience proves a hit there we expect it to then go on tour. Since we can’t actually travel to Arrakis it would be nice to have Arrakis come to us.
