The David Bowie estate has announced a new release that should delight fans of the rock icon. As reported by Variety, the estate will release The Width of a Circle, a new compilation meant to serve as a companion piece to Bowie’s 1970 album The Man Who Sold the World. Most enticingly, the product features a number of yet unreleased recordings by Bowie and The Hype.

Just last year, the estate released a remastering (and retitling) of the aforementioned 1970 album. The new product showcases live performances recorded in 1970 and remastered by Tony Visconti.
The two distinct products newly offered by the digital David Bowie shop include a vinyl and a CD set, both detailed below. Each is available for pre-order now, and is expected to ship on May 26.
Asterisks denote pre-released tracks. As you can see, there’s a healthy helping of new material in the set. Given that Bowie’s extant library already feels like a bottomless treasure chest, it’s terribly exciting to get “more” and “new” from the late, great artist.
Take a look at the packages below and head to the Bowie store online if you’re interested; the LP sells for $19.98, while the CD set runs $34.98.
