AVENGERS: ENDGAME Gets a Fantastic Animated Trailer

How intense is the latest trailer for Avengers: Endgame? Even an animated version has us ready to suit up and do whatever it takes to defeat Thanos.

We’re mere weeks away from the premiere of Avengers: Endgame; despite coming out only a year after Infinity War, feels like we’ve been waiting an eternity for this one. Marvel hasn’t been very forthcoming with insights into the film, offering up only a vague synopsis and footage primarily from the start of what will be a three hour movie. The most exciting promo was the last one, a trailer that gave us our best look yet at the battle to come. It was a haunting, emotional, action-packed glimpse at the devastation the Snap had on the the remaining members of Earth’s mightiest heroes, with a hint of what they’re willing to do to reverse it. It’s so good that it doesn’t even need the real actors to be effective, as this fantastic, fan-made trailer comprising footage from Marvel cartoon series proves.

Hell yeah, right?!

This was made by the great YouTube channel Darth Blender, who has previously made animated versions of trailers for Infinity War and Deadpool 2. This cartoon Endgame trailer was cut with footage from The Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes series, Wolverine and The X-Men, and the Guardians of the Galaxy series.

But beyond just picking the right scenes and doing a remarkable job making the cartoon characters line up with the spoken dialogue from the real trailer, this entry also features the flashback elements in gray with red. That has been a striking visual in Marvel’s teasers for the film, and that works just as well here in creating the right somber mood the Avengers are experiencing following the Snappening.

Because whether it’s animated, CGI, or real, dust makes us tear up.
