Adidas Unveils New MCU Inspired Stark Industries Sneakers

In the MCU, Stark Industries has been the big corporation behind a lot of things, both good and bad. Sure, Tony Stark uses it to create his Iron Man armor, and to give millions to charity. And he uses it to fund the Avengers (although not to apparently pay everyone on the team). But he also used it to sell weapons. Needless to say, it’s a complicated legacy. But the Stark Industries logo has been a constant presence in the Marvel Cinematic Universe since day one. And now you can show your love for all things MCU by wearing the Stark Industries logo on a pair of striking new Adidas sneakers.

Adidas gives their newest sneakers an Iron Man vibe with the Stark Industries logo.

Thanks to Footwear News, we’ve learned that Adidas has joined forces with Marvel to give its ZX 2K Boost shoe a Stark Industries makeover. The shoes feature a black-based textile upper, paired with white panels at the forefoot and heel counter. Right there on the lateral side is the famous Stark Industries logo. seen in many an MCU film. There’s also an orange heel tab, and a full-length Boost midsole. Glow-in-the-dark details evoke the Iron Man armor. In fact, the shoe’s tongue is designed in the shape of the Iron Man mask.

According to their official description, these shoes “combine real-life retro running tech with details inspired by Tony Stark’s fictional company.” To complete the collectability factor, the packaging comes with images of various Marvel Comics characters. Iron Man is right there in the packaging of course, along with his fellow Avengers. But for some reason, so is Groot. Hey, we’re not complaining. More Groot is always a good thing. The Marvel x Adidas ZX 2K Boost Stark Industries shoes are now available at Adidas.com in a wide range of sizes. The Stark Industries sneaker will set you back $150.
