Win a Trip to the STAR WARS: THE RISE OF SKYWALKER Premiere with Adam Driver

Ever wanted to go to a Star Wars premiere with Adam Driver? Well, now you potentially can as the actor explains in this very funny video promoting his non-profit a charity drive for his foundation, Arts in the Armed Forces.

The video showcases Driver’s impeccable comedy timing as he invites a lucky fan to join him on the red carpet at the Los Angeles premiere of the newest Skywalker Saga movie. He offers his potential guest some very good sartorial advice, which, coming from “a red carpet trailblazer,” is hard to ignore. It’s an infinitely charming performance from Driver, who is watchable as always as he invites us to join him and wear some really smart suits—or, you know, a pair of high waisted pants with no shirt at all.

If you, for some reason, aren’t aware of what Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is, then it’s just the biggest movie of the year and the end of a 40-plus year saga of films that have shaped Hollywood forever. The official description of the ninth and final Skywalker movie is thus: “The surviving Resistance faces the First Order once more as Rey, Finn and Poe Dameron’s journey continues. With the power and knowledge of generations behind them, the final battle commences.” Doesn’t it all sound very exciting??

If you’re selected to join him, you’ll win a magical experience which is teased right here:

“Get your ominous black cape dry cleaned because you’re going to the world premiere of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker… as Adam Driver’s VIP guest! That’s right: You and a (very lucky) friend will get flown out to Los Angeles, walk the red carpet and be among the first to see the Skywalker saga come to a thrilling conclusion. And when the credits roll and the movie ends, the party really gets started—because you’re ALSO going to the exclusive, invite-only after-party! At the end of it all, you’ll even go home with a crossguard lightsaber signed by Adam himself, so you can remember this night forever. May the Force be with you! Flights and hotel included.”

If you want to enter, just head to Omaze and support the non-profit Arts in the Armed Forces, which was co-founded by Driver in 2008. Driver’s Omaze campaign describes the organization as a “nonprofit based in Brooklyn, New York that brings high-quality arts programming to active-duty service members, veterans, military support staff and their families around the world free of charge. Your generous donation will support Arts in the Armed Forces’ mission to use the powerful shared experience of the arts to start conversations between military and civilian, service member and family member, the world of the arts and the world of practical action.”

If you don’t want to go to the premiere then just enjoy Adam dragging his own very sensible fashion sense as well as trolling the people who drag him online for it. That’s what we’ll be spending our day doing anyway… whilst we work very hard of course.
