A Super Cute TOY STORY Hotel Is Coming to Tokyo Disneyland

Just as the Walt Disney Company completes their Star Wars themed experience in Orlando, work is nearly finished with another themed lodging experience. This time, on the other side of the world. Disney is soon bringing the world of Andy’s room to life on a large scale. Yes, a Toy Story themed hotel will open soon at the Tokyo Disney Resort. The announcement comes to us via Sora News. The Oriental Land Company, who own and operate Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea, shared plans this week for the Tokyo Disney Resort Toy Story Hotel.

Tokyo’s Toy Story Hotel will be  first “moderate” price range type lodging at the resort. This put it squarely between the “deluxe” and “value” hotels already present at the Tokyo Disney Resort. The hotel will have 595 rooms and 11 floors. The design also includes a restaurant, a shopping experience, a parking structure, and more. Its actual opening date is still up in the air. Construction started quite some time ago, and the Oriental Land Company indicates the hotel will open sometime in fiscal year 2021.

Remember, this is a hotel and not a theme park attraction. That’s never stopped anything related to Disney from having an immersive feeling though. For starters, large Buzz and Jesse figures will stand outside the premises.

And this hotel sits right in front of the Bayside Station on the Disney Resort Line, an automated monorail. This provides guests quick and easy access to both Disneyland and DisneySea. This isn’t the first Toy Story Hotel in Disney history though. For a good idea on what the Tokyo Toy Story Hotel might look like, we suggest taking a look at the video above.
