Six years ago, Wreck-It Ralph‘s titular character proved that a bad guy can be good even when he’s really horrible at it! Ralph’s not intrinsically evil or malicious; he’s just incredibly clumsy and carelessly destructive despite having the best of intentions. When confined to his own game, Ralph is relatively harmless. But in the new trailer for Ralph Breaks the Internet, Ralph’s unintentional reign of error is reaching further than ever before.
The trailer has the first extended look at Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2 since D23 last year. If given the choice, Ralph would have probably stayed at home. But he could never abandon Vanellope von Schweetz in her time of need. Vanellope’s game, Sugar Rush, is broken and on the verge of being removed from Litwak’s arcade. To find the missing part needed to fix the game, Ralph and Vanellope are going on a road trip to some thinly disguised versions of ebay, Google, and even YouTube.
This is the first Disney movie to fully embrace its full lineup of characters from Pixar, Marvel, and Lucasfilm. Familiar faces from each of those sister studios will show up in this story, and that’s far from the only surprise in store. Vanellope’s encounter with every single Disney princess may leave a lasting impression on the iconic heroines. And technically, Vanellope has been a Disney princess all along!
Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2 will hit theaters on November 21.
