Yellowjackets season four, the show’s final season, has officially set a release date. The final season of Yellowjackets will premiere on November 20 exclusively on Paramount+ with the Premium Plan. We’re tentatively excited for the arrival of the last season of this series, which could have been a game-changing hit, but instead was only just okay. But ultimately, Yellowjackets season four will have to REALLY impress us after a few average-to-poor seasons. What Does the Yellowjackets Release Date Teaser Trailer Reveal to Us?
The Yellowjackets release date teaser trailer doesn’t show us any new footage directly from the series. It does, however, confirm that the team will be rescued in the show’s final season. When the rescue takes place during season four, we don’t yet know. We kind of assumed this might be the case, as, eventually, the Yellowjackets must be rescued, but this teaser makes it official.
Yellowjackets Final Season Synopsis
In addition to the teaser trailer, Yellowjackets‘ final season synopsis reads: “As the survivors race to bury their sins before rescue arrives, an old flame roars back into town with plans of her own. Turns out not every homecoming is a joyous one, and this one’s going to sting.”
We assume here that the first part of the synopsis refers to the past timeline and the second to the present, but we can’t say for sure. Whose old flame is roaring into town? What crazy thing will Shauna do next? And will we FINALLY learn what is up with that wilderness symbol? We sure hope so!
