WONDER WOMAN 1984 Collector’s Barbies Are Totally Rad

Although Wonder Woman 1984 was sadly delayed once again due to the COVID-19 epidemic, fortunately we all have a lot of cool Amazonian merch to tide us over until then. And the coolest upcoming Wonder Woman tie-ins are quite possibly this wave of new collector’s Barbie dolls from Mattel, which have been revealed to fans via IGN.

The first of these is a gorgeous 2-doll Barbie Giftset, which features Diana Prince and Steve Trevor, in their 1980s era attire. Diana is in the white dress we see her wearing to a formal gala, as seen in the most recent trailer. This outfit is giving us all the Dynasty vibes, and then some. Steve, who has mysteriously returned to life in the film, is in less glamorous outfit. But it is still very ’80s, especially with that fanny pack.

The price for this deluxe set is $80; it includes doll stands and a certificate of authenticity. It will likely go on sale sometime later in July.

Those are not the only cool Wonder Woman 1984 Barbies that are on the way however. The individual Core Fashion Dolls are have a more reasonable price tag; the target audience is kids versus collectors (although we know a lot of you collectors will want these too). This wave consists of Diana Prince; Diana in her Wonder Woman costume; and Barbara Minerva, in her pre-Cheetah form (but still rockin’ some fierce ’80s animal print.)

Each of these are priced at $14.99 each.

And finally, there is a Wonder Woman Golden Armor set, which showcases the Amazing Amazon in her look which is inspired by the classic comic book series, Kingdom Come. And there is a Young Diana and Horse, showing the Princess of Themyscira when she was still a child, and competing in some sort of Amazonian contest. Both of these sets will set you back $29.99.
