Film & Nerdy Fashion Combine for Vogue World: Hollywood Fashion Show

On October 26, Vogue made the Paramount Studios lot in Hollywood literally ooze with glamour and style when they presented the Vogue World 2025 Fashion Show. This show follows Vogue Worlds in New York, London, and Paris. But if you’re going to do one in Los Angeles? It has to celebrate the film industry. The Vogue World Fashion Show featured many iconic actors modeling. And right alongside them were world-famous supermodels walking the runway in clothing designed by some of Hollywood’s most respected costume designers. You can watch some of the most jaw-dropping and gag-worthy moments down below:

Singer Teyana Taylor and Okoye herself, Danai Gurira, did the kingdom of Wakanda proud by wearing their Dora Milaje couture in an incredible runway celebrating Black Panther costume designer Ruth E. Carter. Not only did they wear their Wakandan best, but the iconic Angela Bassett wore her Queen Ramonda look from the films, and totally slayed.

Italian model Bianca Balti represented Arrakis, wearing Rebecca Ferguson’s costumes, designed by Jacqueline West, from Dune.

Supermodel Anok Yai transforms into Edward Scissorhands, wearing the look that costume designer Colleen Atwood recreated just for her. You can see BTS singer V and Wicked’s Cynthia Erivo losing it at the sight of Yai in full goth glam. And actor Kodi Smit-McPhee was working a full Willy Wonka look for this runway too.

Nicole Kidman, Doja Cat, and others give us full 1920s silent movie era glamour in this video. Which is fitting, as the Paramount lot is where they filmed much of Gloria Swanson’s most iconic moments from Sunset Boulevard.

In a tribute to costume designer Sandy Powell, supermodel Hunter Schafer wore Tilda Swinton’s look from the 1992 film Orlando. She strutted out to the tune of David Bowie’s “Putting Out Fire” from the cult film Cat People. And yes, Jeff Goldblum is there too, being very Jeff Goldblum, wearing Gucci.
