The internet has chosen a new creature to focus on this week. Mei Mei and Moo Deng had their time to shine. Now, Jimothy the Seattle raccoon is taking center stage.
The unusually shaped raccoon, dubbed “Jimothy” by Kiana Hall, who posted the original video, has taken the internet by a storm. His look is caused by Short Spine Syndrome (SSS), a rare genetic condition most commonly seen in dogs. It causes the spine to compress during development.
Now, Dungeons & Dragons has posted their own Jimothy-related content, giving him an official stat sheet as a “beloved cryptid.”
The stats categorize him as a Tiny Beast, with skills in Perception, Sleight of Hand, and Stealth. Stealth is rightfully awarded. Check out the video of the adorable fellow scurrying by below:
Jimothy’s D&D traits use his build to his advantage, with Agility and, more importantly, his Compact Frame allowing him to easily move through spaces as narrow as 4 inches.
This was definitely the most wholesome homage I’ve seen to Jimothy. That said, other internet users are posting their own creative takes on Jimothy, from Jimothy-inspired puppetry, art, Magic cards, LEGO builds, and lots and lots of memes.
Even the Seattle Times and Smithsonian Magazine are posting pieces and reels about the little guy.
My favorite part of the Dungeons & Dragons stat sheet is definitely his “Hurl Garbage” action, which not only deals bludgeoning damage but also makes the target smell bad.
Even before the stat sheet came out, Dungeon Masters were including the creature in their games. A few commenters mentioned homebrew (player-created) content for Jimothy.

Needless to say, Jimothy has been a big hit, and now that his official stat sheet is out, more players will be able to include him in their Dungeons & Dragons campaigns.
