The Stuff of Nightmares and Fantasy Was Found In This Basement

File this under “terrifying but awesome.” As explained by the website, an old townhouse previously owned by “Crypto-naturalist, Fringe Zoologist and Xeno – Archeologist Thomas Merrylin” was donated and scheduled for demolition. But, before it could be destroyed a “huge number of wooden crates found sealed in the basement” were discovered containing specimens of strange creatures collected throughout the Earth. And these specimen you need to see to believe!

Okay, maybe you’re skeptical of this story. If so, you’re right. Well, probably. This collection is likely fake and created by artist Alex CF. But whether or not they’re real is all part of the mystery. So take a look and decide for yourself.

Not sure about you, but to me, this looks sure like a faerie. It’s no Tinkerbell but it certainly is an interesting creature. Maybe a little dark for children though?

This ain’t the gnome from those travel commercials. Yes, I see where the nightmares might come into play with this one. Must. Stop. Looking.
