Experience the Joys of Middle Management in THE OFFICE Mobile Game

It’s been nearly a decade since The Office ended. But wow has it endured. From podcasts to reunions to living on in streaming land, the melodica-heavy theme lives rent free in our brains. But we’ve yet to encounter the beloved NBC show in mobile game form… until now. East Side Games Group is launching a free-to-play idle game inspired by The Office. Now we can all experience the highs and lows of middle management directly from our phones.

In the game, aptly named The Office: Somehow We Manage, players click away trying to score record profits to keep the Scranton branch from downsizing. Yep, even in game form, the branch is struggling to stay afloat. But hopefully the savvy middle managers like those playing the game can keep things on lock. (Take that Stamford’s Josh Porter.)

But as this is the Scranton branch we’re talking about, the game features a whole lot of classic shenanigans from the show. Including episodes like “The Dundies” and “Dinner Party.” Which will likely bring a whole new level of baffling in animated game form. Does Jan’s assistant Hunter still have the voice of an, ahem, angel? We’ll find out.

Other iconic moments from the series making their way to the game include Kevin’s chili, Pretzel Day, and even adventures at Schrute Farms. As players make their way through the game, they can upgrade desks, collect characters, and hopefully stick Dwight’s stapler in jello. For old time’s sake, of course. But as this is a paper company branch players trying to run, throughout the game you can follow leads, sell some paper, and watch the money roll in.

The Office: Somehow We Manage offers players the chance to immerse themselves in iconic moments from the series and connect with their favorite characters like never before,” said Darcy Taylor, Chief Executive Officer of ESGG. “Fans of The Office will absolutely feel the nostalgia through this new game.”

The Office: Somehow We Manage is currently available in iOS and Android. Good luck and enjoy Pretzel Day!
