THE BOYS: TRIGGER WARNING Gameplay Trailer Is Nasty & Bloody

2026 will see the end of The Boys’ flagship series on Prime Video after five seasons. But it’s definitely not the end of the franchise. There are several spin-off series in the works, including prequel show Vought Rising. And soon we’ll alos have The Boys: Trigger Warning, a new stealth-action VR game by Brazilian game studio Arvore and published by Sony Pictures Virtual Reality. Launching March 26, the game is now available for pre-order at a promotional price of $23.99 on the Meta Quest storefront and to wish list on the PlayStation Store. And we now have the first gameplay trailer, in all its bloody and curse-word-filled glory:

And here is the official description for The Boys: Trigger Warning:

The Boys: Trigger Warning drops you directly into the gloriously twisted world of The Boys. This time, you’re not watching the chaos—you’re in it: close-up, personal, and dangerously real. Lucas Costa’s life detonates when the Armstrongs—a washed-up but still lethal family of Vought Superheroes—turn a family outing into carnage. The Boys drag Lucas back from the brink, juice him with powers, and throw him headfirst into their underground fight against Vought and its Supes. With Butcher and Mother’s Milk guiding from the shadows, Lucas sets off on a no-mercy hunt to put the Armstrongs in the ground.

The Boys showrunner Erik Kripke and his writing team for the series contributed to the game. Several series cast members will reprise their roles. Among them are Laz Alonso as Mother’s Milk, Colby Minifie (Ashley Barrett), and P.J. Byrne (Adam Bourke). In addition, Jensen Ackles appears as a “twisted interpretation of Soldier Boy, created exclusively for the game, who looks to be some kind of action figure brought to life.

Arvore’s Ricardo Justus said, “The show’s characteristic violence feels even more absurd and physical here because VR puts you right in the middle of it.” Well, we can’t help but wonder just how immersive this game puts you in the show’s grosser moments. And there are plenty of those to choose from. We’ll find out how far they go when Trigger Warning arrives on March 26.
