TED LASSO Season 3 Gets First Teaser and Release Date

Nate the (Not So) Great double-crossed the man who elevated him from anonymous nobody to AFC Richmond’s assistant coach. He also leaked his former boss’s personal medical issues to the press. And he abandoned the team to work for the despicable Rupert. But Nathan Shelley’s most unforgivable sin might have been when he ripped up Ted’s “Believe” sign. That’s low even for the show’s greatest villain. Fortunately, the squad knows to be a goldfish and forget about the past. And in the first teaser for Ted Lasso season three, they also know how to make their very own replacement signs. In other exciting news, the upcoming season of Ted Lasso officially has a release date.

We believe in believe, and you better believe we’re ready for Ted Lasso to return to Apple TV+. We won’t have to wait much longer for that to happen, though. The streaming site announced the show’s 12-episode third season will return on March 15. New episodes will then follow every Wednesday.

We also know what to expect when AFC Richmond takes to the pitch again. Apple TV+ shared the official synopsis for season three of Ted Lasso, which will see the club back in England’s top division.

In this third season of Ted Lasso, the newly-promoted AFC Richmond faces ridicule as media predictions widely peg them as last in the Premier League and Nate (Nick Mohammed), now hailed as the “wonder kid,” has gone to work for Rupert (Anthony Head) at West Ham United. In the wake of Nate’s contentious departure from Richmond, Roy Kent (Brett Goldstein) steps up as assistant coach, alongside Beard (Brendan Hunt). Meanwhile, while Ted (Jason Sudeikis) deals with pressures at work, he continues to wrestle with his own personal issues back home, Rebecca (Hannah Waddingham) is focused on defeating Rupert and Keeley (Juno Temple) navigates being the boss of her own PR agency. Things seem to be falling apart both on and off the pitch, but Team Lasso is set to give it their best shot anyway.

We know Ted won’t root against the “wonder kid,” but we will. And if Nate can lead West Ham United to relegation, it’ll be a wonderful season. You better believe that.
