It involves Stuart restoring reality after he brings forth an apocalyptic event, and his journey with his crew leads to them meeting many alternative versions of characters whom we know. Now, there is a teaser trailer for Stuart Fails to Save the Universe and it is as bizarre as you’d imagine it to be.

“Comic book store owner Stuart Bloom (Sussman) is tasked with restoring reality after he breaks a device built by Sheldon and Leonard, accidentally bringing about a multiverse Armageddon. Stuart is aided in this quest by his girlfriend Denise (Lapkus), geologist friend Bert (Posehn), and quantum physicist/all-around pain in the ass Barry Kripke (Bowie). Along the way, they meet alternate-universe versions of characters we’ve come to know and love from ‘The Big Bang Theory.’ As the title implies, things don’t go well.”
Multiple Stuarts, post-Armageddon vibes, Denise’s signature wit, and a little inspiration from The Matrix make for quite the clip. In addition to this teaser trailer, Stuart Fails to Save the Universe also gave us a firm release date and time of July 23 at 9PM ET on HBO Max. This should be very…interesting, indeed.
