Ten years ago, everything changed when Netflix quietly debuted a new sci-fi coming-of-age drama series called Stranger Things. The show’s buzz heated up the summer via word-of-mouth as people tuned in to watch an ‘80s era conspiracy/mystery adventure featuring a group of brave nerdy kids on bikes, a girl with supernatural abilities, a mom desperate to find her son, and a slack sheriff who finds his inner hero. Since then, Stranger Things has become a global phenomenon with a legion of fans and loads of merchandise. Now that Stranger Things is complete (sorry to the Conformity Gate believers), you can own the entire series thanks to Arrow Video’s truly epic 4K UHD and Blu-ray releases.
We were very fortunate to receive a copy of Stranger Things: The Complete Series | Deluxe Edition 4K UHD. The storage packaging is a gorgeous wraparound box with artwork by Juan Ramos that makes it the perfect addition to your bookshelf or desktop. This limited-edition release features all 42 episodes of the show’s five season run on more than 25 discs. Each one comes with its own case that defines the season, like this season four case that slides off in a way that makes Max rise into the sky.
There’s plenty of bonus content (five hours, to be exact) of interviews, set tours, and those beloved bloopers that we all want to see. I won’t give away anything here because, well, you should totally get your own for several reasons.
In addition to the content above, the Stranger Things: The Complete Series deluxe edition has some awesome collectibles that you’ll love. There’s a coin for Palace Arcade, which we first saw in season two, a Hellfire d20 and self-adhesive patch that would make Eddie Munson proud. I love the cool stickers that reference several iconic locations and all five double-sided posters with artwork by Kyle Lambert.

But wait! There’s more! This set also comes with 25 artcards spanning every season, a double-sided map of Hawkins that is INCREDIBLY detailed, and an artbook with 148 pages of original design sketches, concept art, storyboards, and writing from people like the Duffer Brothers (you might know them), Shawn Levy, and more.
As a big fan of the series, this is truly what a collector’s edition should look like. It’s so much more than just owning the show it its entirety. It’s a carefully curated package that’s crafted by those who truly love Stranger Things and have an intimate knowledge of what people want to see. And, for a pre-order price of $215, it is certainly worth its cost. Bravo to Netflix and Arrow for such an incredibly rad collaboration.
If you wish to snag a deluxe Blu-ray set for $200, you will get the same perks. For more information, you can check out that version’s sale page. And, to be honest, the “standard” 4K UHD and Blu-ray versions are both solid as well. They have all the behind-the-scenes goodness, a collector’s booklet, and a double sided poster. There’s something for everyone here, and all versions will be released on July 27. That’s the best way to celebrate ten years of battling Demogorgons, blasting ‘80s music, and learning that friendship is absolutely everything.
