CNBC reports that Pizza Hut and Kellogg are joining forces to deliver hot Stuffed Cheez-It Pizza from the oven to your mouth. It’s an unexpected but interesting flavor explosion waiting to happen.
The new menu addition has four squares with a Cheez-It crust and filling made of cheese only or pepperoni and cheese. The future could lead to more options for fillings and different crust flavors, but consumer will have to love how the original tastes first. There’s also marinara dipping sauce to really take your snacking pleasure to the next level. Yum.
It’s basically the pizza chain’s way of keeping up with fierce competition in a world with sandwich wars, Twitter brand fame, and all sorts of new food creations. And, honestly, if coffee-less coffee can be a thing, then there’s no reason why we can’t have a giant Cheez-It packed with Pizza Hut goodness, right?

The Stuffed Cheez-It pizza may kick off a new trend for Pizza Hut as it also looks into offering plant-based meat solutions for customers. A lot of non-meat eaters still long for their sausage and pepperoni pizza days, so this option would let them relive those days without sacrificing their current diets. We’re not sure if this will ever happen but right now we are completely on board for a Cheeze-It and Pizza Hut collaboration.
