Raise a glass to freedom… and reunions, too. Deadline reports that the original cast of Hamilton will reunite at this year’s Tony Awards. The ceremony, hosted by Wicked star Cynthia Erivo, will air on CBS on Sunday, June 8. This reunion celebrates the 10th Anniversary of the theater run for Hamilton, which started Off Broadway at Public Theater before moving to Broadway’s Richard Rogers Theater.

The Hamilton cast coming back for its anniversary reunion includes Lin-Manuel Miranda, Carleigh Bettiol, Andrew Chappelle, Ariana DeBose, Alysha Deslorieux, Daveed Diggs, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Jonathan Groff, Sydney James Harcourt, Neil Haskell, Sasha Hutchings, Christopher Jackson, Thayne Jasperson, Jasmine Cephas Jones, Stephanie Klemons, Morgan Marcell, Javier Muñoz, Leslie Odom, Jr., Okieriete Onaodowan, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Jon Rua, Austin Smith, Phillipa Soo, Seth Stewart, Betsy Struxness, Ephraim Sykes and Voltaire Wade-Greene.

This reunion news comes just weeks after the announcement that Leslie Odom, Jr. will return to the Broadway stage as Aaron Burr in the current Hamilton production. We assume this Tony Awards reunion will feature the cast performing a few ensemble songs or perhaps one long number together.
