This MORTAL KOMBAT Poster is Easter Egg Heaven

Remember the halcyon days of childhood? When you could entertain yourself with nothing more than a dogeared copy of Where’s Waldo? Well, now you can relive those joyous moments in a far more gory form with this incredible Mortal Kombat “Find Scorpion” poster by Gus Morais.

As you can see, this is an astonishing piece of art that is filled with detail and decapitation. According to the official Mortal Kombat Twitter account, the image features “77 Mortal Kombat characters and 1 very special guest.” Spoiler alert, the special guest is none other than MK co-creator himself Ed Boon (or maybe Arnold Schwarzenegger—we can’t decide). We’ve found the guest, but can you? Aside from all your faves like Sub-Zero, Scorpion, Baraka, Shang Tsung, Liu Kang, and Kung Lau the poster is chock-full of deep cut Kombat characters.

We’re also in love with Morais’s sense of humor! From SubZ Ice Cream to Kid Raiden having his cone stolen by Noob all the way to Cetrion kissing a tree in the living forest. There’s so much silliness to enjoy here, this poster will delight Mortal Kombat fans of all ages. Whoever your main is you’ll be able to find them here doing something outrageous. Maybe they’re taking part in a blood drinking competition? Testing their might? Or even recording some mocap for the next Kombat game!

We’re incredibly grateful for this lovely distraction. Whether or not it holds any secrets about the upcoming Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath expansion has yet to be seen, but the new DLC does drop soon so who knows… maybe there’s even some movie teases in here. Let us know when you do find Scorpion as the yellow-suited anti-hero is doing a very good job of keeping himself hidden!

You can download your own 4K copy of the poster here!
