“Are you afraid of the Darth?” LEGO Star Wars Terrifying Tales is asking the galaxy this exact question. So gather the Force to the sticking place and get ready for this new original special. LEGO Star Wars Terrifying Tales is coming to Disney+ on October 1… And it aims to scare, dark side style.
A trailer for the new special offers a first look into this creepy journey.
As we see in the trailer, LEGO Star Wars Terrifying Tales will function as a story within a story. The official description of the show shares,
After the events of “The Rise of Skywalker,” Poe and BB-8 must make an emergency landing on the volcanic planet Mustafar where they meet the greedy and conniving Graballa the Hutt who has purchased Darth Vader’s castle and is renovating it into the galaxy’s first all-inclusive Sith-inspired luxury hotel. While waiting for his X-wing to be repaired, Poe, BB-8, Graballa, and Dean (a plucky and courageous young boy who works as Graballa’s mechanic) venture deep into the mysterious castle with Vader’s loyal servant, Vaneé.Along the way, Vaneé shares three creepy stories linked to ancient artifacts and iconic villains from across all eras of Star Wars. As Vaneé spins his tales and lures our heroes deeper into the shadowy underbelly of the castle, a sinister plan emerges. With the help of Dean, Poe and BB-8 will have to face their fears, stop an ancient evil from rising, and escape to make it back to their friends.
Viewers will follow along with fan-favorite Poe Dameron and his beloved droid BB-8 as they embark on another adventure. In true Star Wars style, it looks like there will be a healthy heaping of heart along with the scares. In the trailer, we see Poe tell his new friend Dean, “Without fear, you can’t have courage.” And courage sounds like it will be a must-have in this haunted hotel. We’re definitely curious to see what fears Poe and BB-8 will have to face themselves! And we hope that Finn and Poe can reunite in LEGO Star Wars Terrifying Tales.

Fans can also rest assured they will enjoy the Halloween fun no matter which Star Wars era is their favorite. According to a release for the show, the three tales Graballa tells will be entitled ‘The Lost Boy,’ ‘The Dueling Monstrosities,’ and ‘The Wookiee’s Paw.’ The first offers insight into “how a young Ben Solo first meets Ren.” The second “imagines how Darth Maul and General Grievous were reborn.” And the last “gives a look at what might have happened if all of Luke Skywalker’s greatest wishes were immediately granted.”
As the trailer puts it, the three stories will revolve around “the thirst for power,” “the devotion of the undead,” and “desire.”All while cleverly taking fans through the different eras of Star Wars. Whether these tales have any truth is something fans will have to discover for themselves.
