LEGO’s exclusive SDCC offerings really hit on the unique spirit it’s bringing to SDCC this year—that of discovery, adventure, and exploration. At LEGO’s booth, you can pick up an exclusive embroidered patch and also an exclusive premium swag pack, but only if you complete your space missions first.
Here are all the galactic exclusives guests can pick up from LEGO at SDCC 2024.
LEGO’s Exclusive Embroidered SDCC 2024 Space Mission Patches
LEGO’s SDCC booth (#2829) will transform into a space station, Space Station 8R1CK5, to be exact. At Space Station 8R1CK5, guests, or should we say, interstellar travelers, will get a chance to design and build their own rocket ship creations using LEGO bricks. Guests will then be able to set their LEGO rockets into orbit with a special LED screen backdrop as well as a brick-built version of space. Nerdist got to see this activation in action, and we have to say it was absolutely heart-warming. Space adventurers, young and old, delightedly crafted their creations and gleefully sent them into the LEGOsphere. If LEGO was aiming to encourage pushing the boundaries of imagination and creating an environment rife with exploration, they absolutely succeeded.
But visitors to the LEGO booth aren’t simply creating rocket ships; they’re completing a space mission. And a LEGO space mission successfully completed deserves an exclusive prize. LEGO will be offering exclusive SDCC 2024 embroidered patches to commemorate these wonderful space-inspired creations. Every astronaut who builds a spacecraft at Space Station 8R1CK5 will receive this exclusive LEGO San Diego Comic-Con mission patch. And we must say, they look pretty cool. We know we’ll be sewing them onto our favorite space suits immediately after the con.
Participate in a Mobile Scavenger Hunt and Win an Exclusive LEGO SDCC 2024 Swag Pack (And Maybe Something More)
A mission patch isn’t the only SDCC 2024 exclusive LEGO has on offer, though. In addition, LEGO lovers can go on a different kind of mission at San Diego Comic-Con, a mobile scavenger hunt, to win an exclusive SDCC LEGO swag pack.
LEGO is calling this fun SDCC 2024 scavenger hunt the LEGO Space Explorer’s Challenge. Those visiting SDCC will be challenged with completing some secret missions across the convention. These will be photo-based and accessible via a mobile website. Those who complete the Mission may very well get special LEGO prizes to take home.
In fact, the first 20 guests who complete their scavenger hunt mission each day will win an “exclusive premium swag pack” from LEGO. The exact contents of this exclusive swag pack remain mysterious, but doesn’t that just add to the excitement around this LEGO SDCC offering? Sounds spacetacular to us!
But how do you access the LEGO Space Explorer’s Challenge, you might ask? Well, you just have to visit LEGO’s booth and they’ll have QR code to start you on this journey of great discovery! Please also note that you need to complete your Mission on the day you start it. Every day of the con will bring a different set of Mission Tasks. You can complete the Mission once each day and earn multiple entries over the course of the event. (But there’s a max of one entry per email per day!)
Additionally, everyone who completes the Mission overall will be entered for the chance to win an exclusive grand prize. Incredibly, this adventure extends to fans not at San Diego Comic-Con, too. Fans not attending the show can join in the fun and possibly snag something exclusive by entering to win at LEGO.com/San-Diego-Comic-Con.
