In 2024 LEGO released its first ever The Legend of Zelda set with its Great Deku Tree. Now the company is promising a new collectible for fans of the popular video game franchise. And while it hasn’t released any specific details about this latest offering, we know who Link will be dealing with. We’re getting a The Legend of Zelda set based on Link’s showdown with Ganon in the beloved N64 game Ocarina of Time.
“Do you realize who you’re dealing with?” That’s the only tagline for the upcoming The Legend of Zelda set Nintendo of America is promising is coming to stores. That’s plenty of information, though. That boastful question/threat is part of a memorable quote Ocarina of Time‘s big bad Ganon says to Link. That’s who Link, along with the fairy Navi, appear to be facing down in this animated tease which also shows Princess Zelda in the background. The setting and ominous fires also match the hero’s showdown with the game’s final boss.
This brief promo then ends with a note on when you can begin playing this little plastic brick version of Ocarina of Time. It says, “Build the Legend: Coming in 2026.” Usually LEGO doesn’t tease a set like this that far in advance, so we’re hopeful this means early 2026. But until we get confirmation from LEGO we’ll just have to wait. Impatiently.

We’re faaaaaairly certain this set’s Navi minifig won’t be able to actually float. But we won’t rule it out. Even if that fairy can’t fly, though, that won’t stop fans like us from grabbing this set. Especially if it includes a buildable Ganon figure. LEGO’s Great Deku Tree lives up to its name. But we really want a set for The Legend of Zelda that embraces Link’s quests in Hyrule. Getting a LEGO set that recreates one of his best, most famous battles from one of his best, most famous games is would certainly give us that. Clearly LEGO and Nintendo knew who they were dealing with when they designed this collectible.
