Fall is officially here. It’s that special time of the year when millions of Americans put on a sweater and dip their head in a bucket of pumpkin spice. Yes, everywhere you go that signature autumnal flavor is there. From coffee to cookies, ice cream to donuts, to even candles and makeup, it sometimes seems like every single product gets a pumpkin-spice version in September. But this year that might literally be true, because Kraft has announced a Pumpkin Spice Macaroni & Cheese.
And depending on how you feel about it, you can either thank or blame Canada for it coming to the U.S.

Kraft launched its new Pumpkin Spice Macaroni & Cheese in Canada, where in just over 48 hours, more than 30,000 people signed up for the waiting list to get some. Thanks to that overwhelming response, Kraft is now brining this intriguing dish south of the border into the United States. Americans who legitimately can’t get enough of the dominant fall flavor can try and win a box for free. All you have to do is tag @kraftmacncheese in a tweet with the hashtags #PumpkinSpiceKMC and #Sweepstakes. The contest runs now until September 29.
As for this new seasonal mac and cheese, it’s based on the same Kraft product everyone knows. But this version also has hints of cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice and ginger.
We’d eat it. We’re not sure we’ll like it, but we’ll eat it.

“After seeing the huge response Pumpkin Spice Mac & Cheese received north of the border, and even hearing some heated debates about it down here, we had to bring it to the U.S. for Americans to try,” said Martina Davis, Brand Manager for Kraft Macaroni and Cheese, in a statement. “Who knows? Maybe it could become a new North American fall favorite.”
Maybe? There’s no maybe about it. With the way Americans can’t get enough of Pumpkin Spice everything, it feels more like a guarantee.
