KILLING EVE Season 2 Trailer Promises Romance, Mayhem, and Fashion

Our beloved Killing Eve was the most intriguing show of last year and ever since the shocking ending we’ve all been waiting to see what happens with our favorite spy / assassin pair. Well, this very happy Valentines Day, BBC America has a brand new trailer for you to enjoy, and it promises just as much madness, cat-and-mouse drama, and very good looks.

The first season introduced Sandra Oh’s Eve Polastri, a razor-sharp MI6 agent with a specific macabre passion for female serial killers, and Jodie Comer’s Villanelle, a brilliant, brutal, eccentric, and impulsive assassin. After Eve is set on Villanelle’s tail, the pair becomes inextricably linked to one another. The show became a massive word-of-mouth hit, with its viewership growing every single episode. The strong female characters and subversion of the spy thriller trope made it one of last year’s most talked about shows.

BBC America’s new trailer showcases the women as they deal with the earth-shattering events of the season one finale, with Eve struggling to come to terms with her actions and Villanelle becoming vulnerable in a way we’ve never really seen her be before.

The show also became famous for its incredible fashion, and some highlights from the new teaser include Villanelle in some very good kids comic book pajamas, someone in a tutu and a pigs mask, and Eve making cozy cold weather clothes look as chic as humanely possible. It’s all soundtracked by an impossibly creepy cover of Robert Palmer’s “Addicted to Love,” of course, because the music department on this show is no slouch either!

If you’re excited for the new season you’ve only got a little while longer to wait as it debuts on both BBC America and AMC on Sunday, April 7 at 8 ET/7 CT. For now, you can just watch this trailer one million times.
