Joe Manganiello Visits Pittsburgh’s Children’s Hospital to Share the Joy of D&D

Powered by Geek & Sundry

Don’t let the menacing characters Joe plays fool you–he’s one of the nicest guys out there. Actor,  Dungeons & Dragons superfan, and Critical Role guest player Joe Manganiello recently spent some time during a visit home to Pittsburgh to create characters and roll dice with the kids at the Children’s Hospital.

Joe and his brother Nick Manganiello stopped by the hospital to take the kids away from the real world for a little bit and into a world where they can do anything their imagination dreams up. The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette was there to interview Joe and capture a little bit of his turn as Dungeon Master.

Just like any D&D table, smiles, laughs, and a rage or two were enjoyed by all.

Not only did Joe and Nick donate their time, a cart full of Dungeon & Dragons Starter Kits were gifted to the hospital so that more kids could learn the game and play. Joe and Nick are real-life heroes who embody the spirit of the Dungeons & Dragons community.
