Twisted clowns have been a thing lately. IT Chapter Two is in theaters and the “Clown Prince of Crime” will soon return to the big screen in Joker. So it makes sense that a makeup artist would turn herself into a surreal, horrific jack-in-the-box with a clown’s face. One that, thanks to the clown craze, could maybe get its own Netflix show?
Laughing Squid picked up on the illusion, which was posted by the makeup master, Kika. There’s not a lot of information provided along with the clip, but we’re going to go ahead and guess that it took hours and hours to completely transform the artist into a wicked vicious clown jack-in-the-box.
Another fact we can be certain of is that Kika (Mirjana Milosevic) is a real savant when it comes to using illusory makeup to make her body look like it’s something completely, well, disembodied. She and her partner Stojan have been making videos like this for years, and it seems like they just keep getting better and better at it. Kika shows off her torso as a series of “shelves” in the tweet below.

Oh, also, there’s Kika’s Human Braid body painting illusion, which is twisted as well, but in a wholly different way. Seriously, which one of these makeup illusions is more frightening? Both are definitely super creepy, but we’ll give award for most nightmare-inducing to the former because Kika’s facial expression looks downright demonic throughout the video.
What do you think of this insane clown jack-in-the-box illusion and how do you think it compares to the torso-turned-shelves video? Is Kika’s springy clown just as frightening as any other painted villain in the movies or could she have gone even more macabre? Let us know in the comments!
