Here’s Johnny… again. No, not that one. In a Violent Nature’s silent and relentless killing machine continues to show us what it is like to chop up innocent people once again in a sequel film. The trailer for In a Violent Nature gives us a group of campers who make the really dumb choice to be on Johnny’s hunting grounds.
The premise is pretty darn simple. Young wild kids hang out in the woods and get up to shenanigans. They chat about an urban legend involving a killer and then said killer starts taking them out one by one. We all know how it goes and obviously we aren’t sick of that formula. Friday the 13th laid a foundation for many films to build their premise on.
However, the first film put a twist on the typical slasher by making a film that felt like a video game where you are in the drivers seat with the killer as the main character. And that film had one of the most gruesome and inventive kills that I’ve ever seen before. So I am curious about how this sequel will amp things up another notch.

Right now, there’s no release date for In a Violent Nature, with the trailer simply saying that it is coming soon. That almost sounds like a threat. But we dig it.
