HEATED RIVALRY Fans Can Now Stay at the Iconic Cottage Thanks to Airbnb

Heated Rivalry became a phenomenon last year on HBO Max, as millions of viewers were drawn into the secret and steamy queer romance of pro hockey players Shane Hollander (Hudson Williams) and Ilya Rozanov (Connor Storrie). One of the most talked about (and memed about) moments was in the penultimate episode, when Hollander asked Rozanov to sneak away with him to his private cottage in the Canadian wilderness. The lines “I’m coming to the cottage” became a viral moment. Via Variety, we’ve now learned that Heated Rivalry fans can stay at that actual cottage, which now has a listing on Airbnb. Sexy hockey players not included.

The Heated Rivalry cottage (which is really a fairly large, state-of-the-art house) becomes available on March 3 via Airbnb. The six-room Barlochan Cottage is located in Torrence, Canada, and features nearly 400 feet of private waterfront. Although Heated Rivalry says that Shane’s cottage is located near Montreal, the actual filming location is in Muskoka, Ontario. So some lucky Heated Rivalry fans can go outside and recreate moments from the show, like when Ilya Rozanov thinks there’s a wolf nearby, but it’s actually a bird. And if you want to recreate some of the sexy moments that happened inside, well, that’s entirely your prerogative. Just know there are lots of windows… As Ilya and Shane quickly find out…

HBO Max has already renewed Heated Rivalry for a second season, with filming set to begin later this summer. Will Shane and Ilya return to the now-famous cottage for more romantic interludes in the next season of Heated Rivalry? Or will it remain as a symbol of just one pivotal part of their story? If the production decides to return, they’ll likely have to work filming dates around fans staying at that location. In the meantime, fans can go to the official Airbnb site and book their stay. And whoever you choose to bring with you, be sure to let them know by quoting Shane Hollander. “Will you come to my cottage this summer? It’s so private. No one will know.”
