New HARRY POTTER Candies Feature Replica Chocolate Wands

We love October because it means witches, ghosts, and scary movies, but it should never be overlooked that the spookiest time of the year also means something just as important: candy. Lots and lots of candy. And this year’s batch is going to be extra magical, because Jelly Belly will release new additions to its Harry Potter line of sweets, including some chocolate replicas of famous wands (different than the plain chocolate wands that have been available). The confectionery company announced in a press release (that we learned about at PopSugar) that on fans of the Boy Who Lived will get to dine on four new delectable delights as of October 1. The most exciting are detailed, 1.5 ounce chocolate replicas of the wands used by Harry, Dumbledore, Hermione, and Ron. They come with a sheet of famous spells that no one will get a chance to master before they eat their wand.

They are also releasing two other new chocolate products, each made with crisped rice. The first is a four pack of 0.25 ounce Hogwarts House Crests, and the other items are six different 0.55 ounce chocolate creatures. They come with collectible stickers, but you won’t know if you scored Aragog, Crookshanks, Fang, Fluffy, Hedwig, or a Thestral until you open the package.

If you want something more chewy, they will have 1.5 ounce gummi creatures of Fang, Fluffy, Buckbeak, Hedwig, and Aragog, available in flavor combinations of cherry/lime, cherry/blueberry, blueberry/lime, and lime/orange.

Are any of these particularly scary? Only if you count how many of them we’ll probably end up eating. But that’s okay, that’s one of the best things about October.
