Let’s be honest with ourselves. Part of the reason we love Godzilla and other kaiju movies so much is because it is cathartic as all get out to watch those big suckers stomp on everything in their path like it’s nobody’s business. Who hasn’t had the kind of day that has made them want to stomp on some random Toyota Tacoma, or knock over an electrical pole or twelve? Or swipe their tail to the left and take out city block? Godzilla gets to do that for us. He’s emotionally healthy for us as a culture.
But if you’ve ever wanted to see the King of the Monsters stomp on more everyday objects one might come across and less on skyscrapers, then we here at Nerdist have got you covered. In the video supercut above, you get to experience that world famous foot crush everything from a carton of milk, to dry ice, to even a plate of cheeseburgers (that one kind of hurt.)
How does @GodzillaMovie keep cool? Dry ice, baby. #godzillamovie #godzillastomp #nerdistomp #ad pic.twitter.com/uz2xZKAaDz

Godzilla also stomps on an Oscar statuette, and and I think that maybe he’s working something out there. I mean, he’s been around how long in the movie business without getting one? Talk about overdue for Oscar gold. I don’t blame him. Godzilla clearly has some beef with his current cinematic rivals as well. I’m just sayin.’
So here’s the deal, @GodzillaMovie. You get three wishes, and… er. Yeah, nevermind. #godzillamovie #godzillastomp #nerdistomp #ad pic.twitter.com/G9KSUuyZMm

Ok, so the Godzilla foot in question is actually a hydraulic press. But hey, the “real” Godzilla is also just a bunch of pixels in a computer and not actually a 350-foot-tall atomic lizard. It’s called suspension of disbelief, people! For me though, the best moment in this video is Godzilla taking out the birthday cake with all those lit candles on it. I know I’ve wanted to destroy a birthday cake with too many darn candles lately, so thank you King of the Monsters for doing it for me. That felt really good to watch.
