CM Punk Moves Into a Haunted House in GIRL ON THE THIRD FLOOR

Although we are still in the so-called Dog Days of summer, that only means we are just that much closer to Halloween season. Which is of course the perfect time for a new super creepy haunted house movie to give you the most memorable kinds of nightmares. The upcoming film Girl on the Third Floor arrives this October, and is written and directed by filmmaker Travis Stevens. The film stars Phil Brooks, whom you know better by his professional wrestling/superstar grammar slammer name: CM Punk.

You can check out the first trailer for this new spookfest down below:

According to the film’s official synopsis, “Bursting pipes, rotting walls, and unidentifiable slime were not what Don Koch (WWE’s Phil “CM Punk” Brooks) expected when he convinced his wife, Liz (Trieste Kelly Dunn), that he could rehab their new Victorian home himself. In over his head, under duress, and tempted by his old weaknesses, Don soon discovers that the house has its own dark, sordid history and won’t be so easy to renovate after all”. The Girl on the Third Floor also stars Sarah Brooks, Elissa Dowling, and Travis Delgado.

CM Punk has long been a lover of all things spooky and eerie. He once appeared as special guest investigator on an episode of the Syfy channel series Ghost Hunters, investigating the real life hotel that inspired Stephen King’s The Shining. And he’s long been an avid comic book fan, and his favorite comic series is none other than Garth Ennis’ supernatural free-for-all, Preacher. In addition to his upcoming turn in Girl on the Third Floor, Phil Brooks is also appearing in another upcoming horror film, a remake of David Cronenberg’s Rabid.

Girl on the Third Floor arrives in theaters and on digital platforms everywhere on October 25.
