Monopoly is taking on a new form—one clad in dragon scale armor. Fans of Rebecca Yarros’ Empyrean series will be pleased to hear that the popular fantasy series is being gamified. On March 31, Hasbro announced the upcoming arrival of two all-new Fourth Wing-inspired games: Monopoly Fourth Wing Edition and Monopoly Deal Fourth Wing Edition. Both games launch on July 15, 2026.

Forget Park Place, claim Aretia instead. We’re living for this collision between two worlds. Both games thrust players into the brutal world of the Riders Quadrant. Ride, fight, and win just as though you were at Basgiath War College yourself. The cover of the game is made to look just like that of the Fourth Wing book, plus some added Monopoly flair. Much like regular Monopoly, strategy is key. But sadly, for Fourth Wing lovers, there’s no extra sexiness or spiciness to this version of the games. Dragons, yes. Steamy enemies-to-lovers arc, less so. Alas!

Hasbro describes each game as follows:
Monopoly Fourth Wing Edition
- Players use Outposts and Strongholds to lay claim over locations, training every day to defeat opponents on the mat and earning as many Blades as possible. The last rider with Blades at the end wins!
Monopoly Deal Fourth Wing Edition
- Players use signet to gain a competitive advantage over other riders and protect locations and dragons to prove themselves as a bright young military strategist. Action cards are used to collect blades for a personal Armory, summon and swap properties—the first to collect 3 complete sets wins!

Monopoly Fourth Wing Edition is complete with seven dragon tokens, Navarre locations as claimable properties, outpost and stronghold markers, Dragon Rider’s Codex cards, and more. The Monopoly Deal version includes action cards and signet cards with unique special abilities, such as shadow-wielding or mending.
Yarros only published Fourth Wing in 2023, yet the series already boasts an explosive fandom. Dragons, fantasy worldbuilding, enemies to lovers? What more could you want from an adult fantasy series? The Empyrean series is planned to conclude with five books total. The first three, Fourth Wing (2023), Iron Flame (2023), and Onyx Storm (2025) have already been published. The fourth is expected to arrive sometime next year. Until then, riders can experience the dragon-run kingdom of Navarre like never before.

Both Fourth Wing-themed Monopoly games are available for pre-order at Amazon now. Snag yourself a spot upon Dragonback before it’s too late. These properties aren’t going to steal themselves.
