Osgood Perkins is one of the great horror directors in recent years. Longlegs and The Monkey proved that this guy, who once played a nerdy dude in Legally Blonde, knows how to craft unique tales of terror. Next up is Keeper, which we are continuing to learn more and more about with each trailer. Yet, it still feels like we don’t know anything at all. 
We do know that this film has the stamp of approval from Guillermo del Toro and James Wan. That’s a pretty good sign that this film will give what it needs to give. Also, calling Perkins the wizard of horror is perfection. The Keeper trailer gives us even more confidence in whatever Perkins is cooking up.
